1SI - One Southern Indiana

Changes in the transit infrastructure of Southern Indiana and adjacent Louisville Metro communities' are to take place over the next five years.   One Southern Indiana (1SI) sought a unifying visual and brand messaging that reflected its core mission values as a chamber of commerce and economic development organization serving the region while reflecting a pro-Indiana position of economic growth.  They found that communication and branding through Peredo & Associates. 

10-Year Anniversary


To commemorate the 10th year under its new One Southern Indiana brand, 1SI requested Peredo & Associates to develop a system of branding and visual elements that complemented the chamber’s identity and core values that would be used throughout print and display, as well as traditional and new media advertising.

Leading the Way


Following stakeholder interviews and a brand audit Peredo & Associates created a series of positioning statements reflecting the pillars of the 1SI including Advocacy, Business Development and Economic Development opportunities for Southern Indiana.




Businesses. Leading the way.  became the central anchor statement for the series.  This message was deployed across all new media, collateral, traditional and environmental marketing platforms throughout the Southern Indiana area.

To Become As One


The statement of One was a pivotal brand shift from 1SI's  "Southern Indiana Chamber of Commerce" name from ten years prior.  


The word One itself evokes thoughts of solidarity of "that which unites."  One was also an overlooked element in previous visual communications that Peredo & Associates utilized to its fullest capacity.  


Peredo & Associates used the O in the word “One” as an anchoring design element as it proved easy to integrate and hold stylistic attributes across all marketing pieces.  The element was applied comprehensively to all collateral pieces including membership plaque, brochures, folders, membership guide and other marketing tools.

Annual Report & Meeting


The Annual Meeting is the cornerstone business celebration done at One Southern Indiana and became the venue for the inaugural brand roll out for its new positioning.


Peredo & Associates introduced the use of silver ink and Centura Silk satin paper stock to bring vibrant color to design elements while subduing the metallic ink from becoming too bold or overbearing.


This choice allowed subdued but fresh design contrast and the use brand colors reflecting the specific core initiatives of the chamber.


These design and branding elements ideated by Peredo & Associates are now adopted and used in all communications pieces by One Southern Indiana.
